Hello, Lovely

I am a mean old woman who bargained with a devil for a younger body sometime in the eighties when everyone was making terrible promises about how great the future would be. Now I appear to be in my mid-twenties and I'm waiting anxiously for those cars that drive themselves to become available to the public.

I like to research everything, though I can never remember anything. I’m a gamer born and raised. I'm an introvert posing as an extrovert. I'm redecorating my house to include a reading room with pink accent walls.

I can't decide what type of dog I want.

My dream is to live in a hotel suite and spend my days surfing and writing, but instead I am landlocked in the middle of Suburbia, hours and hours and hours away from the nearest coast.

I plan for my posts here to focus on my feelings and thoughts from my perspective as an aspiring writer. They will probably mostly consist of my personal notes on what worked and what didn't work for me in stories, so that I might remember these things in the future when I'm writing my own epic.

My star rating reflects how a book resonated with me. It is entirely biased and I don't mean to insult anyone else's favorite book if I dislike it. It just means I was not the right person for that book.

The occasional essay or discussion topic might be posted here as well, as I am a scholar at heart and sometimes my poor husband needs a break from my constant analytical ramblings.
